Antivirus and antispyware
Antivirus was created to help protect and eliminate computer viruses that would
destroy the computer it was on and attack the network that was on it.Today not only
does it protects against computer viruses, but also protects against other programs
that could attack your network like worms and Trojan horses. These other types of
programs attack your computer first and also can contain a virus that once in the
virus is brought past your protections and can freely attack your computer, but
there are programs that can help prevent them from attacking your computer.
Spyware is when through advertisements information is collected about you and relays
your information to someone else for him or her to store and steal your identity.Another
thing that spyware does is changes the your computer configurations without your
perdition. What Antispyware does is help block these ads and protects your information
from being taken. It also helps protect programs that you install thinking that it
will help, but instead slows down the performance of your computer.Antispyware helps
make sure that after you uninstall the program that it never comes back.
