Dear Parents,
As you may know, 2009 will see the 125th anniversary of St Aubyn’s and to celebrate, the school is building a Media Centre that will offer all St Aubyn’s pupils state-of-the-art IT training.
The smart new 2-storey building will be sited next to the Sports Hall, with the first first floor dedicated to a full-scale multimedia centre, fully equipped with up-to-the-minute computer equipment and the latest IT teaching facilities. On the ground floor, the brand new library will become the school’s primary reference resource with places for quiet study and a venue for readings and story telling. And the whole thing is going to be brilliant!
The ‘125 Appeal’ has been formed to raise a 10% contribution towards the cost of the centre - and is seeking donations and help from big corporations, local businesses and IT suppliers as well as parents and the school’s supporters. If you’ve a contact or a suggestion to help with fundraising, please let us know at (email address) via the 125 Appeal Pigeon Hole in the School office!
