Introduction

Modern Slavery is a very real and present issue right now, harming some of the most vulnerable people in society.

This statement sets out Go Live UK’s actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business and to put in place steps that are aimed at ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in its own business and its supply chains. This statement shares the actions we’ve taken so far to tackle modern slavery, and our commitments on what we intend to do to help combat this offence.

Who is Go Live UK

Go Live UK Limited is a London-based organization founded by Mr. Ivan Yordanov. Established in 2001, the business has grown year-on-year and built a strong reputation for itself as a specialist in cyber security, website design/build and social media services. The business now has over 400 clients, many of whom come back to the business time after time for our support.

Supported by a 20-strong team of software engineers and web designers based in Bulgaria, Go Live UK’s products and services include:

WHAT ARE WE DOING ABOUT MODERN SLAVERY

Slavery and Human Trafficking Policies

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in a part of our business. Our Slavery and human Trafficking Statement reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implement and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

Go Live UK operates the following policies that describe its approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and steps to be taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in its operations:

  • Whistleblowing Policy - We encourage all our employees, customers, and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of Go Live UK. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking. The Go Live UK’s whistleblowing procedure is designed to make it easy for workers to make disclosures, without fear of retaliation.
  • Company Handbook - makes clear to all employees the actions and behaviour expected of them when representing the company. Go Live UK strives to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct at work and in supply chain management.
  • Anti – bribery Policy - Go Live UK is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in its business activities in the UK and overseas. The Company will not tolerate any form of bribery by, or, of, its employees, customers, suppliers or any person or body acting on its behalf.
  • Anti – money laundering Policy - Go Live UK put in place this policy in order to prevent any of our products and services being used (or potentially used) for any money laundering activity in UK or overseas.
  • Business Ethical Policy - We are committed to the practice of responsible corporate behaviour. Go Live UK will ensure that all its employees and contractors are entitled to their human rights as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Human Rights Act 1998.

Go Live UK Policies and procedures around modern slavery are communicated to all staff to inform them of Go Live UK commitment to minimize the existence of modern slavery, the standards to which both Go Live UK staff and suppliers must adhere to, and the mechanisms for staff and suppliers to report issues.

Due Diligence Procedures

Go Live UK undertakes due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers, and regularly reviews its existing suppliers. Our due diligence and reviews include:

  • Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier.
  • Agreements with our suppliers include contractual clauses to ensure compliance of both supplier and sub-contractors with modern slavery legislation.
  • Conducting supplier audits or assessments which have a greater degree of focus on slavery and human trafficking where general risks are identified.
  • Taking steps to improve substandard suppliers’ practices, including providing advice to suppliers and requiring them to implement action plans.
  • Advising our new and existing suppliers of our commitment to combatting modern within our organization and our similar expectation from our suppliers to us.

Training and Awareness

Training on this policy, and on the risk our business faces from modern slavery in its supply chains, forms part of the induction process for all individuals who work for us, and regular training will be provided as necessary.

Go Live UK has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to doing business with honesty and integrity. This approach must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners as the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter.

Approval

This Statement is made pursuant to section 54 (1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes with Go Live UK Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement approved by Mr. Ivan Yordanov, Managing Director of Go Live UK Ltd.
